Our church celebrates Christian holidays throughout the year as reminders of God’s work, His love, and His faithfulness. Below you will find information about the holidays we observe and how we celebrate them together as a church family.

January 19 The Baptism of the Lord

Commemorating the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River and the beginning of His public ministry.

February 2 The Presentation of the Lord

Remembering the presentation of Jesus at the temple and Simeon’s testimony of Christ as the Light of the world.

March 25 The Annunciation

Celebrating the announcement by the angel Gabriel to Mary about the birth of Jesus Christ.

March 29 Palm Sunday

Remembering Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, when He was welcomed as King, marking the beginning of Holy Week.

April 2 Maundy Thursday

Commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with His disciples and His command to love one another.

April 5 Easter — The Resurrection of Christ

Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the victory over sin and death.

May 14 The Ascension of the Lord

Remembering the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven and His promise to return.

May 24 Pentecost (Holy Trinity Sunday)

Celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church.

August 6 The Transfiguration of the Lord

Remembering the transfiguration of Jesus Christ on the mountain and the revelation of His divine glory.

October 18 Harvest Celebration

A time of thanksgiving to God for His provision and blessings throughout the year.

November 26 Thanksgiving Day

A day dedicated to gratitude, giving thanks to God for His goodness and faithfulness.

December 25 Christmas — The Nativity of Christ

Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
